- We repair and test the shutter through several full open and close cycles before leaving.
Repair or replace?
Repair is almost always worth it when the curtain and guide rails are in reasonable condition. Replacement starts to make sense when:
- the repair would cost more than about half the price of a new shutter,
- the curtain is badly corroded or has many damaged slats, or
- the same fault keeps coming back after repairs.
We'll give you an honest recommendation. If replacement is the better option, we can also supply and install a new shutter.

Simple repairs such as freeing a jammed shutter start from $180. Slat, lock or pull-strap replacement starts from $150, spring work from $250, and motor replacement from $600.
