What affects the price?
- Shutter size and weight: bigger and heavier shutters need stronger springs and motors.
- Shutter type and material: aluminium, steel, perforated, polycarbonate or fire-rated.
- Parts required: a simple adjustment costs far less than a new motor.
- Access: height, ceiling space, loading bay or mall access restrictions.
- Urgency: after-hours emergency attendance carries an attendance fee.
Repair or replace?
As a rule of thumb, if a repair would cost more than about half the price of a new shutter, or the same fault keeps recurring, replacement may be better value. We'll give you both options honestly where relevant.
